It was a honey of a day! Tucker Worley taught the students all about honeybees. He brought a live hive for student to see, his beekeeping gear, and honey for students to sample. Students learned about the lifecycle of the honeybee and how vital honeybees are to the food we eat. He shared the honey making process and how he collected honey from the bees. Many parents joined in the fun and learning. Many students wore black and yellow.
Special thanks to Mr. Worley and Mrs. Gillespie for providing a fun and educational STEAMR day, to Title I for providing bee books to all students, and all the staff who helped make it a great day!
