The new school year got a little brighter,and a lot more exciting, thanks to a special visit from Atlanta Braves Mascot Blooper on Thursday, July 31. With his signature high-energy antics and heart of gold, Blooper surprised staff at Oakley Elementary by delivering much-needed school supplies, just in time for the start of school.
From crayons and notebooks to backpacks and more, Blooper didn’t come empty-handed. The staff couldn’t stop smiling as they received boxes full of goodies. After everything was unloaded the Oakley staff got to pose for a photo with their new favorite mascot. His visit was a reminder that when teams and communities come together, they can make a real difference.
The Atlanta Braves’ generosity didn’t go unnoticed, and Oakley Elementary is beyond grateful for the support.
