Letter From the Principal

Dear Pisgah Families,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I hope that you have had an enjoyable summer vacation and have been able to make some special family memories! We have been diligently preparing for our student’s return and a new year filled with learning and growing!

I am extremely grateful to be beginning my fourth year as the principal at Pisgah Elementary! I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else! It is just the best little school “nestled at the foot of Mt. Pisgah!” I look forward to continuing to work with all of our parents and care givers in the upcoming school year. As we enter this new year, I want to let you know that our staff will be engaging in conversations around having a growth mindset, both for themselves and all students. We believe that every individual in this building should always be growing and learning!

Pisgah has the most dedicated and highly trained staff, but most importantly, they love our students! I believe that this is one of many things that sets Pisgah apart! They work tirelessly to ensure that their instruction is engaging, meaningful, and rigorous, while creating a very nurturing and caring community! Despite obstacles that may arise, we always believe in our ability to rise above challenges and come out stronger on the other end! Consequently, our teachers and staff have high academic and behavioral expectations! It is the Pisgah way!

We invite you to partner with us as we strive to provide the best possible educational opportunities for our students! I value communication and have an open-door policy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

I am looking forward to having the halls filled with staff and students soon and beginning another great school year! Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children and for choosing Pisgah!
