Letter From the Principal

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that it is already November!  We have some great events coming up and would love for you to be involved.  Every Tuesday in November, we will be hosting Pisgah Elementary Breakfast Club from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the School Counselor’s office.  It is open to all family members that care for kids.  Come out and talk with other adults and school staff about the challenges and successes of caring for children.  Refreshments will be served and child care will be provided for younger siblings.  We hope that you can come and join us!

On Saturday, November 18th, we will be having our fundraising breakfast at Fatz Southern Kitchen on Patton Avenue from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  The Pisgah Staff will be the servers.  We will be using the money to assist our families and students during the holiday season.  Adult tickets are $10.00 and children are $6.00.  If you would like to purchase tickets in advance, call Angie Ford at Pisgah Elementary at 828-670-5023.  Please purchase tickets by November 16th

Our Fall Festival was a huge success!  We took in over $2,000 and had numerous donations from many area businesses.  Our overhead was very low, so Pisgah will be receiving around eighty-percent of the proceeds.  We are very excited about the great turn out and seeing how much fun our kids had!  A special thank you to our PTO who spent numerous hours in planning and preparation!

Thank you again for all of your support!  Pisgah students, families, and staff are the best!

Sincerely,
Jeanann Yates
